Proudly Serving

Sierra Madre, CA

Sierra Madre, CA was founded in 1881 when Nathaniel Carter purchased 1,103 acres that now comprise the town.  He purchased 845 acres from “Lucky” Baldwin; 108 from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company; and 150 from Levi Richardson.

A beautiful little town nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Sierra Madre is only three square miles and has about 11,000 residents.  Even though Sierra madre is part of Los Angeles County, it still feels a little bit like Mayberry R.F.D. , a Warner Bros. production from the late 1960’s.

The offices of Talianko Design Group are situated in the ‘Ol City Hall Building’, built in 1927.  Here, the fire department kept it’s trucks.  In our closet, they hung the fire hoses to dry.  The building offers plenty of character with its used brick walls and picture windows to the city’s street. Feel free to visit any time!
