Talianko Design Group’s Expansion Includes New Staff Positions

22 Jun Talianko Design Group’s Expansion Includes New Staff Positions

I am so excited to welcome the newest members of our team–Dulce Cespedes and Natalie Lord.   The addition of these women marks a major expansion within our firm.

Furthering its award-winning, wellness-based design aesthetic and concierge-level client care, Talianko Design Group has hired Dulce M. Cespedes as the firm’s design assistant.  A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Cespedes specializes in automated design systems including CAD and 3-dimensional rendering for interior spaces.  Additionally, Cespedes supports the design team as the point of contact with vendors, suppliers and clients.  Cespedes interned with Talianko Design Group prior to joining the company full-time on June 1.  Previously, she worked in retail sales and merchandising for a worldwide apparel brand.

Natalie J. Lord who joined the company in 2015, has been promoted to junior interior designer, working directly with the firm’s founder and lead designer, Debbie L. Talianko.  In addition to her specialty in interior textiles, Lord also manages all client projects from design concepts through installation.

Talianko approaches the addition and promotion of new team members with the focus on complete client delight, noting, “It is paramount that the gifted designers and staff who work here fit with our culture, values, and approach to design, but just as importantly, they must be a good fit with our clients.”  In a business that has a myriad of details and constant fluidity, the addition of these two talents means “We are able to handle every detail with efficiency and perspective, ensuring our clients have that ‘it’s perfect’ moment on reveal day,” says Talianko.

A refreshed company website, taliankodesigngroup.com, highlights the practice’s evidence-based wellness approach to home environments.  For the designers at Talianko Design Group, it is not enough for a home to be beautiful and to function effectively.  It must also help you be and feel better.  Employing wellness concepts based on the latest scientific findings, Talianko Design Group creates casually elegant interiors that support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.  “Staying as healthy as possible within your home environment is key to our design work,” Talianko says, “We believe strongly that we should incorporate fixtures, objects, art, technology and more that promote this philosophy.  People should truly feel good in their homes.”

While providing comprehensive, turnkey residential interior design for complete remodeling projects and new construction is at the core of Talianko’s business, the company also offers an array of limited-scope services allowing clients to access their expertise for a wide range of projects.  From one-day professional design consultations, or product selection and purchasing guidance to drafting and blueprint review or referrals within the trade, homeowners can now utilize the designers’ experience, resources and creativity to produce outstanding results for smaller-scale and homeowner-directed projects.

I’d like to take this time to thank all of you, our clients who have supported us through the years and we look forward to serving you again in the future.
